Team members join a passionate environment focused on delivering consistently excellent pizza experiences.Role Description The Assistant Purchase Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, OH. This position supports the purchasing function by assisting in vendor selection, negotiating pricing within guidelines, and ensuring timely ordering of ingredients, packaging, and kitchen supplies. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, tracking deliveries, and coordinating with kitchen and operations teams to maintain uninterrupted supply while minimizing waste. The Assistant Purchase Manager maintains accurate purchase records, reviews invoices, and supports cost control initiatives. This role also helps evaluate product quality, maintain supplier relationships, and adhere to food safety and company standards.Qualifications Ability to manage purchasing activities, including vendor coordination, order processing, and basic price negotiation.Skills in inventory monitoring, stock reconciliation, and maintaining accurate purchasing documentation.Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail capabilities to handle multiple orders and deadlines.Comfort with using spreadsheets, purchasing or inventory software, and basic data analysis for tracking costs and usage.Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with suppliers, kitchen staff, and management.Understanding of food safety, quality standards, and best practices in handling ingredients is an advantage.Prior experience in procurement, supply chain, or restaurant/food service operations is preferred.Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, hospitality management, or a related field is beneficial.
