Team members work in a dynamic, high-performance environment that values craftsmanship, professionalism, and continuous improvement.Role Description The Assistant Purchasing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hong Kong, supporting the sourcing and procurement of food, beverages, and restaurant-related supplies for the group’s outlets. This role coordinates daily purchasing operations, including obtaining quotations, placing orders, monitoring delivery schedules, and ensuring stock levels meet business needs while controlling costs. The position involves maintaining strong relationships with local and international suppliers, evaluating product quality and pricing, and assisting in contract negotiation and supplier performance reviews. The Assistant Purchasing Manager collaborates closely with culinary, operations, and finance teams to align purchasing decisions with menu requirements, quality standards, and budget targets. The role also includes maintaining accurate purchasing records, analyzing usage and cost data, and contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems.Qualifications Proven experience in purchasing or procurement within F&B, hospitality, or retail, with strong skills in supplier sourcing, cost analysis, and inventory coordination.Solid understanding of food and beverage products, quality standards, and logistics, including experience managing local and overseas vendors.Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in using ERP or purchasing systems, spreadsheets, and basic reporting tools.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a collaborative approach to working with culinary, operations, and finance stakeholders.High level of organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple orders, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Fluency in English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is highly advantageous for supplier communication.Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to food quality and safety standards; prior experience in fine dining or premium F&B groups is an asset
