This environment provides team members with exposure to innovative products and evolving production practices.Key Responsibilities• Manage end-to-end procurement activities as per production and material requirements.• Plan and execute procurement of raw materials, components, bought-out items, consumables, packaging and engineering materials.• Review MRP/PR/indents and convert requirements into timely purchase actions.• Coordinate with PPC, Production, Stores, Quality, Engineering and Accounts for uninterrupted material availability.• Identify, evaluate and develop new vendors based on quality, capability, capacity, cost and delivery performance.• Manage RFQs/RFIs, quotations, comparative statements and techno-commercial evaluations.• Negotiate price, payment terms, MOQ, credit period, lead time, freight and other commercial conditions.• Prepare, release and monitor Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery.• Monitor supplier performance based on Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).• Develop alternate sources to minimize supply-chain risks.• Support cost reduction, value engineering and procurement optimization initiatives.• Maintain proper procurement documentation, vendor records and commercial data.• Coordinate with Stores and Accounts regarding GRN, invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues.• Monitor critical and long-lead items to avoid production stoppages.• Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, approval processes and documentation requirements.Required Skills• Strong understanding of manufacturing purchase and procurement• Raw material and component procurement• Vendor development and supplier evaluation• RFQ/RFI management• Comparative statement and commercial analysis• Price negotiation and cost reduction• Purchase Order management• MRP/material planning coordination• Inventory and lead-time management• Supplier performance management (QCD)• Knowledge of ERP/SAP and MS Excel• Understanding of technical specifications, drawings/BOMs and engineering components will be an added advantage.Preferred BackgroundCandidates from manufacturing, engineering, automotive components, industrial products, sheet metal, fabrication, plastics, electrical/electronic components or similar manufacturing environments will be preferred.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply.Location: Agra, Uttar Pradesh
