Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Purpose: Support the Corporate Finance team in preparing high-quality credit proposals for new and existing transactions, ensuring full alignment with the Bank’s credit policies, internal approval standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.Monitor the assigned credit portfolio to maintain the quality and soundness of credit risk assets, identify early warning signals, and keep senior team members informed of material developments.Prepare technical authorization requests, including temporary excess limits, facility validity extensions, waivers, amendments, and enhancements, to secure timely approvals from the relevant authorities.Track annual review timelines and coordinate timely submission of complete annual review packages, including financial spreads, Moody’s Risk Assessment ratings, annual credit memoranda, and summary of limits sheets.Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery to Corporate Finance clients and timely resolution of operational, documentation, compliance, fraud, AML, and portfolio-related matters.Demonstrate UAB’s values of integrity, customer focus, competence, consistency, and courteousness in all internal and external interactions.Principle Accountabilities: Prepare comprehensive credit appraisals covering financial analysis, business assessment, risk evaluation, facility structure, repayment sources, and key mitigants, ensuring submissions comply with credit policy, TMRAC requirements, and CBUAE guidelines.Liaise with clients, lead banks, facility agents, seller banks, and other relevant counterparties to obtain information required for annual reviews, new primary transactions, secondary market opportunities, amendments, and waivers.Support the Senior Manager, Team Leader, and Head of Corporate Finance in business development activities, including client pitches, information memoranda, term sheets, mandate letters, commitment letters, NDAs, and transaction follow-ups.Ensure credit proposals, annual reviews, interim memoranda, technical authorizations, and internal reports are submitted within agreed SLAs, turnaround times, and deal-specific timelines.Monitor portfolio quality through regular review of past dues, financial covenants, facility maturities, scheduled principal and interest payments, rollovers, asset classification, and other early warning indicators.Assist in managing watch-list or problem accounts by preparing analysis, recommending remedial actions, and coordinating with senior team members and relevant control functions.Coordinate with credit, CAD, operations, legal, compliance, account opening, and support teams to complete security documentation, KYC requirements, account opening formalities, credit file maintenance, and periodic reporting.Participate in credit-related internal and external audits, including Central Bank inspections, by providing required documentation, explanations, and follow-up support.Attend relevant conferences, seminars, and market events to support networking with banks, financial institutions, and corporate clients.Complete assigned training requirements and continuously develop technical, credit, regulatory, and relationship management capabilities.Job Requirements (Qualification/Experience) Minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in credit risk management, corporate lending, relationship support, portfolio monitoring, or corporate finance within a banking or financial institution environment.
