Day-to-day tasks include writing clean and efficient code, implementing back-end features, fixing bugs, and collaborating with senior engineers on technical solutions. The role involves participating in code reviews, contributing to documentation, and helping integrate APIs and databases into web and mobile applications. The Assistant Software Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, assist in translating them into technical specifications, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. The position also includes learning and applying best practices in software engineering, maintaining version control repositories, and continuously improving skills in modern development tools and frameworks.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#).Knowledge of Back-End Web Development, including server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database integration.Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them in real-world projects.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.Ability to learn new technologies quickly, work independently in a remote environment, and collaborate effectively within a distributed team.Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.Experience or interest in AI, data engineering, SaaS, FinTech, or cloud solutions is an advantage.
