The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, and maintaining a safe and organized storage environment.Receive, unpack, and store incoming shipments in designated areasMaintain accurate inventory records using computerized inventory management systemsPick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipmentConduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepanciesOrganize and maintain the warehouse layout for optimal space utilizationOperate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safelyEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesCollaborate with other departments to fulfill inventory requests and resolve issuesAssist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the storage facilityPrepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, damages, and discrepanciesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent2-3 years of experience in a similar storekeeper or warehouse roleProficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detailExcellent record-keeping abilities and basic math skillsPhysical stamina to perform tasks involving lifting, standing, and walking for extended periodsKnowledge of warehouse operations, procedures, and best practicesFamiliarity with safety regulations and practices in a warehouse environmentAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamAdditional InformationKnowledge of construction materialsinventory excel
