Assistant Superintendent – Multifamily Construction (San Diego, CA)We're looking for an Assistant Superintendent to join a project team building high-density residential and mixed-use developments in San Diego.What You'll DoSupervise and direct punch carpenters, laborers, and assigned subcontractorsCoordinate and schedule jurisdictional inspections and third-party testingPrepare and manage punch lists, ensuring work meets quality standards before inspectionsAssist in building and maintaining project schedulesReview plans to catch inconsistencies and verify layouts against codeMonitor job site safety and participate in weekly safety/subcontractor meetingsMaintain organized project documentation per company standardsWhat You BringHigh school diploma required; Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in multifamily podium construction (Ground-up)Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Word, and Excel (Procore/Textura a plus)Familiarity with building codes, rough trade work, and construction proceduresStrong communication, organizational, and time-management skillsSalary and Other Compensation:The base salary for this position is between $100,000 – $140,000 annually.
