Assistant Supervisor - Service Quality

JOB PURPOSEAssist in supervising cargo examination operations, ensuring safe and efficient handling, quality compliance, damage prevention, and continuous process improvement.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESAssist in supervising cargo stripping, repacking, and lashing operations.Conduct spot checks and inspections to ensure SOP, safety, and quality compliance.Monitor handling of fragile, hazardous, and oversized cargo.Monitor equipment use and report unsafe practices or malfunctions.Identify SOP deviations and support corrective actions.Coach labor teams on proper cargo-handling practices.Participate in briefings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.Maintain inspection records and support daily/weekly quality reporting.Analyze cargo damage and support preventive measures.Ensure proper repacking, lashing, documentation, and service quality.Coordinate with operations and quality teams to resolve issues.Support SOP reviews, process improvements, and staff training.Assist with customs, safety, environmental, billing, and VAS compliance.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSDiploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality Management, or related field.3–5 years of experience in cargo handling, quality control, or terminal operations.Knowledge of cargo handling, terminal procedures, and equipment safety.Experience in quality control, process improvement, and Lean practices.Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
