Team members are encouraged to contribute to a culture of curiosity, respect, and continuous growth.Role Description The Assistant Teacher is a full-time, on-site position located in Allen, TX. This role supports lead teachers in implementing the global learning and STEAM-focused curriculum, helping to prepare educational materials and set up classrooms for daily activities. The Assistant Teacher engages directly with children through age-appropriate lessons, play-based learning, and hands-on projects, while promoting a safe, positive, and inclusive environment. Daily responsibilities include supervising children, assisting with transitions and routines, reinforcing classroom rules, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in learning spaces. The role also involves communicating with the teaching team, supporting documentation of children’s progress, and following all health, safety, and childcare regulations.Qualifications Foundational knowledge of early childhood education practices and child development.Ability to support curriculum implementation, including global learning themes and STEAM activities.Strong classroom support skills, including supervision, behavior guidance, and maintaining a safe environment.Effective communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and interacting with children and families.Capacity to follow established procedures, adapt to changing classroom needs, and work as part of a team.High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.Previous experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or educational setting is beneficial.Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements, including background checks and health clearances.
