Assistant Teaching Professor (Non-Tenure-Track)

The Department of Psychology and Neuroscience, in the College of Arts & Sciences, at Baylor University invites applications for two full-time assistant teaching professor faculty positions beginning in August 2027. We seek collaborative educators with strong commitment to teaching excellence within psychology or neuroscience courses at the undergraduate level. We especially welcome applications from those who could serve as an instructor in two or more of the following courses: abnormal psychology, cognition, human development, introduction to neuroscience, introduction to psychology, learning and behavior, neuroscience research methods, and sensation and perception. This appointment is a renewable 9-month full-time, benefits-eligible, teaching-focused position with a 6-year promotion path to Associate Teaching Professor for successful candidates and a 12-year promotion path to Teaching Professor for highly successful candidates. Candidates who are outside of the United States and do not have other nonimmigrant visa status will not be sponsored for an H-1B petition. QualificationsDoctoral degree in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field is required by the time of appointment.
