The role involves designing and delivering undergraduate and graduate neuroscience courses, including preparing lectures, labs, and discussion sections. The faculty member will develop and update curricula to reflect current scientific advances, create inclusive learning environments, and use evidence-based teaching methods. Ongoing responsibilities include mentoring and advising students, assessing learning outcomes, grading assignments, and participating in departmental service such as committees, program development, and outreach activities. The position may also involve collaboration with other faculty on interdisciplinary teaching initiatives and educational research projects.Qualifications Strong teaching and education skills, including Teaching and Education experience in neuroscience or a closely related field.Expertise in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development for undergraduate and/or graduate neuroscience courses.Excellent Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly to diverse learners.Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Neuroscience or a related discipline.Demonstrated commitment to inclusive pedagogy and supporting learners from varied backgrounds.Experience with active learning strategies, course assessment, and use of educational technologies.Evidence of successful classroom instruction, mentorship, or educational innovation.Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to departmental and university service.
