Arunodaya University aims to provide inclusive, industry-relevant academic programs and foster a culture of research, innovation, and community engagement.Role Description The Associate & Assistant Professor in Commerce and Computer Science is a full-time, on-site role based in Itanagar Tehsil. Responsibilities include planning and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, developing syllabi and lesson plans, and guiding learners through practical and theoretical coursework. The role involves assessing student performance, supervising projects, mentoring learners, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge in Commerce and Computer Science. Faculty members are expected to engage in academic research, participate in departmental meetings and committees, contribute to curriculum development, and support university initiatives and outreach activities.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong Computer Literacy and Programming skills relevant to Commerce and Computer Science education.Candidates should possess skills in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to assist with academic and laboratory-related technology needs.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for teaching, mentoring, academic writing, and collaboration.Postgraduate degree (e.g., M.Com, M.Sc./MCA in Computer Science or related fields) from a recognized university; NET, Ph.D. or enrollment in a doctoral program is preferred.Demonstrated teaching or academic experience at the university or college level, with familiarity in outcome-based education and modern pedagogical methods.Ability to design and deliver blended learning, manage classroom and laboratory environments, and use educational technologies and learning management systems.Commitment to academic integrity, inclusive teaching practices, continuous professional development, and participation in research and scholarly activities.
