Responsibilities

As an Associate Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:1. Providing legal advice and guidance on matters related to corporate law and insurance defense.2. Representing the company in legal proceedings, drafting legal documents, and managing or advising clients on legal transactions.3. Advising our clients on their legal rights and obligations, including the interpretation and application of laws and regulations.4. Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.5. Negotiating settlements for legal disputes and coordinating the execution of agreements.6. Collaborating with a team of attorneys and paralegals to manage caseloads from start to finish.7. Staying abreast of current trends, developments, and changes in corporate law and insurance defense to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.2. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on corporate law and insurance defense.3. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.4. Proven track record of successfully managing a diverse caseload with minimal supervision.5. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and advise clients accordingly.6. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.7. Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and balance multiple priorities.8.
