Associate Attorney

Commercial Litigation Associate – Houston, TXA highly regarded law firm is seeking a talented 2–3 year Associate Attorney to join its Houston office. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced team representing leading automobile, powersports, boat, and other manufacturers in complex commercial litigation, regulatory compliance, and dealer-related matters nationwide.The Associate will work closely with experienced partners and sophisticated clients on a broad range of matters involving manufacturer-dealer relationships, franchise and distribution issues, business disputes, compliance counseling, and strategic risk management. This position offers meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to develop a nationally recognized litigation practice.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support commercial litigation matters from inception through resolutionConduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, briefs, and client communicationsAssist with discovery, depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trial preparationAdvise manufacturers and distributors on regulatory compliance mattersCounsel clients on dealer, franchise, and distribution relationshipsCollaborate with attorneys across multiple offices on sophisticated litigation and counseling mattersDevelop and maintain direct relationships with national clientsQualifications2–3 years of litigation experience in a law firm settingCommercial litigation experience requiredExperience with regulatory compliance, administrative law, dealership law, franchise law, or distribution law is a plusExcellent legal research, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong oral advocacy and communication abilitiesAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamActive Texas Bar license and in good standingCompensation & BenefitsBase salary: $195,000–$205,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic marketComprehensive benefits packagePotential eligibility for performance-based bonusesThis position includes occasional travel to support client matters and team initiatives.Applicants should be prepared to submit:ResumeCover letterLaw school transcriptInterested in learning more?
