Our attorneys handle matters from initial strategy through trial, appeal, or resolution.Role DescriptionWe’re hiring a full-time Associate Attorney to join our commercial and real estate litigation practice. You’ll handle cases from intake through trial or settlement, including:Researching and analyzing legal issues and developing case strategyDrafting pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, and settlement agreementsTaking and defending depositions, attending hearings, and participating in negotiations and mediationsCommunicating directly with clients and working closely with the firm’s partnersManaging deadlines and court requirements across multiple mattersThis is an on-site position in Austin, TX.QualificationsJD from an accredited law school and an active Texas law licenseAt least three years of litigation experience in Texas state courtsStrong research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple matters independently with close attention to detailPrior law firm or clerkship experience in commercial or real estate litigation is a plusCompensation and Benefits $120,000-$140,000 base salary based on experience and qualifications Quarterly bonus structureHealth insurance reimbursement up to $400/monthMatching IRA contributions up to 3% To ApplySubmit a resume, cover letter, and writing sample to Meghan Alexander via email to meghan@galfaustin.com.Gottfried Alexander Law Firm is an equal opportunity employer.
