Team members work closely with expert local guides and operators to showcase the culture, natural beauty, and adventure opportunities of this vibrant region.Role Description The Associate role is a full-time hybrid position based in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks. In this role, the Associate supports daily operations by coordinating tours and excursions, communicating with local guides and service providers, and assisting with logistics for groups, private events, and luxury services. The Associate interacts with travelers and partners via email, phone, and in person, helping to manage bookings, answer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining accurate records, updating itineraries, supporting marketing or social media efforts related to experiences and events, and ensuring that all services meet the company’s standards for safety and customer satisfaction. The role requires collaboration with a diverse team, adaptability to changing schedules, and a strong focus on delivering memorable travel experiences.Qualifications Strong customer service and client relationship skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in multicultural environments.Organizational and coordination skills to manage schedules, bookings, and logistics for tours, events, and group travel.Proficiency in office and digital tools (email, spreadsheets, booking systems); experience with social media or basic digital marketing is a plus.Language skills: fluency in Spanish and good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.Knowledge of or interest in tourism in the Mexican Caribbean and Mayan Riviera, including local attractions, culture, and activities.Ability to work in a hybrid setting, balancing on-site responsibilities in Playa del Carmen with remote administrative tasks.Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to handling traveler needs and unexpected changes.Prior experience in tourism, hospitality, or event management is preferred; relevant education or training in tourism, hospitality, or business is beneficial.
