The Associate Consultant will support senior consultants in delivering high-quality clinical care, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up. Responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, documenting clinical findings, participating in ward rounds, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and hospital standards. The role may also involve assisting in procedures, contributing to case discussions, engaging in clinical audits, and supporting quality improvement initiatives. The Associate Consultant is expected to maintain professional ethics, communicate clearly with patients and families, and contribute to a safe, patient-centric environment.Qualifications Relevant medical degree (e.g., MBBS) with completed residency or postgraduate qualification in a recognized specialty.Valid medical registration with appropriate statutory bodies and compliance with local regulatory requirements.Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and evidence-based treatment planning abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.Ability to follow hospital protocols, maintain accurate medical records, and uphold patient safety standards.Experience or interest in working in a tertiary or quaternary care setting with advanced technology and complex cases.Commitment to continuous learning, participation in clinical audits, and adherence to ethical medical practice.Willingness to work in a dynamic, high-paced environment with flexible shifts as per departmental needs.
