Associate Consultant – Transport & Logistics

Our Client is a leading consulting firm and are looking to engage with a Associate Consultant – Transport & Logistics.The role involves conducting transport studies, analyzing logistics networks using QGIS and other GIS tools, and supporting infrastructure planning. The ideal candidate will have expertise in transport modeling, logistics optimization, stakeholder coordination, and data-driven decision-making.Key Responsibilities:1. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and transport authorities to gather dataand insights.2. Develop GIS maps, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insightseffectively. 3. Conduct traffic movement, and logistics assessments using geospatial andstatistical tools.4. Utilize QGIS and other transport modeling software to analyze transportcorridors, road networks, and freight flows.5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, manage project documentation, andproactively tracking the project progress and milestones of transport andinfrastructure initiatives.Skills RequiredExperience:Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering.3-7 years of relevant experience in transport planning, traffic assessment, logistics, infrastructure, or related projects.Preference for candidates with experience in Government agencies, government infrastructure projects, or DPR consultancy firms.Experience in stakeholder coordination, project management, data analysis, and project documentation.Working knowledge of QGIS/ArcGIS and transport modelling tools is preferred.Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and other visualization tools.
