You’ll partner with national and campus leadership to ensure a high-impact learning experience that reflects our deeply rooted culture of Chamberlain Care®.What You’ll DoIn this leadership role, you’ll guide faculty and academic operations to ensure an exceptional student experience and strong academic outcomes.Faculty Leadership & DevelopmentLead recruitment, selection, onboarding, and ongoing performance management of faculty and staffMentor faculty in academic excellence, professionalism, communication, collaboration, and serviceEnsure faculty are equipped with and accountable to teaching best practices through regular evaluation and feedbackAssign faculty and academic team workloadsCurriculum Excellence & DeliveryEnsure learning experiences align with the BSN curriculumPartner with national academic teams and committees to implement curriculum goals and initiativesSupport faculty in implementing curriculum updates and program improvementsEnsure consistent execution of core CAS programs and assist in developing local programming when neededFacilitate faculty participation in national course advisory councils and curriculum decision-makingStudent Success & OutcomesDevelop and execute student success plans focused on retention, graduation rates, and NCLEX outcomesMonitor and analyze student performance data to inform improvements and interventionsEvaluate course resources and assessment data each session and recommend enhancementsChampion student satisfaction and collaborate across teams to achieve superior outcomesOperations & CollaborationCollaborate with campus leadership and national partners on academic planning and capital needsSupport clinical coordination teams to ensure clinical placements meet program objectivesPartner with national library staff to manage local resourcesLead regular faculty and academic team meetings to drive communication and engagementCompliance & GovernanceEnsure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standardsAct as liaison with local, state, and national regulatory bodiesServe as designated Campus Security AuthorityMay serve as or support duties of program director if neededParticipate in academic budgeting and planningAdditional ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties as assignedComply with all organizational policies and standardsQualificationsEducationRequired: Master’s degree in NursingPreferred: Doctorate in Nursing or progress toward doctorateExperienceRequired:2+ years teaching in nursing education at the bachelor’s level or higher2+ years academic leadership experience2+ years development/participation in simulation or clinical educationPreferred:Experience in acute care, trauma, emergency, and/or medical-surgical environments3–5 years of acute patient care experienceSkills & CapabilitiesProven ability to lead, direct, and advise facultyStrong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skillsHighly organized with excellent time managementStrong customer service orientation with ability to engage students, faculty, and staffProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteLicensureActive, unencumbered professional nursing license (required)Current, unrestricted Illinois nursing license, or eligibility to obtainAdditional InformationIn support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $115,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
