Location: Orlando (on-site)Pay Range: $125K - $130K/yrOverview: In collaboration with the Associate Dean, the Assistant Dean is responsible for the delivery of educational programs and services at the campus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate and consult with faculty and program coordinators to promote strong commitment and resultsMaintain high standards of scholarship and serviceMaintain programmatic accreditationComplete and administer budget allocationsRecruit, hire and evaluate facultyOrganize student advising proceduresOrganize faculty teaching loads and quarterly class schedulesDevelop and maintain collaborations with other colleges and programs for inter-professional educational opportunitiesWork with the School of Nursing on planning and assessmentRepresent the program in the community at large

Requirements

Minimum of an earned Master of Science degree in Nursing; an earned doctorate in an appropriate discipline, with professional preparation/credentials in a relevant specialty, is preferredPrior program administration experience at the BSN level preferredEvidence of effective teaching, service and scholarly activitiesEffective leadership and management skillsDocumentation of applicable licenses/certificationCurriculum development experience preferredExperience with planning, assessment and evaluation processesInterested in hearing more?
