Day-to-day responsibilities include performing procedures such as fillings, crowns, simple extractions, and other common treatments, while ensuring patient comfort and safety. The role involves educating patients about oral health, discussing treatment options, and maintaining thorough and accurate clinical documentation. The Associate Dentist will collaborate with dental assistants and front office staff to support efficient patient flow and a positive experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Salinas, CA.Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution and current, unrestricted California dental license (or eligibility to obtain).Solid experience in general dentistry, including diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, and preventive care; comfort treating patients of varied ages and backgrounds.Commitment to patient-centered care, with strong chairside communication skills and the ability to explain treatment options clearly and respectfully.Attention to detail in clinical records, infection control, and compliance with all applicable dental regulations and practice protocols.Ability to work collaboratively with dental assistants and administrative staff, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and respect in all interactions.Interest in continuing education and staying current with advances in dental techniques, materials, and technology.Preferred: experience in private practice or community-based dentistry in a similar setting; familiarity with dental practice management software and digital radiography.
