GradLevate is hiring for an established dental clinic in Anna Nagar, Chennai, for an Associate Dentist / Junior Dental Surgeon to join its clinical team.This is a great opportunity for BDS freshers and junior dentists with 0–2 years of experience who are looking to gain hands-on clinical exposure and develop their professional skills in a patient-focused dental-care environment.Job DetailsPosition: Associate Dentist / Junior Dental Surgeon Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Anna Nagar, Chennai Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 7:30 PM Experience: 0–2 Years Qualification: BDS with valid State Dental Council registration Freshers: Encouraged to apply About the RoleThe selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in a professional dental-care environment and gain practical exposure to general and comprehensive dental care.The role will provide learning and clinical exposure across areas including General Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Orofacial Pain, TMJ Management, Patient Consultation, Treatment Planning, Preventive Care, and Family Dental Care, while working alongside experienced dental professionals. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct patient consultations and preliminary dental assessments.Perform general dentistry procedures within the scope of qualification and experience.Assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient follow-up.Explain treatment procedures and treatment plans clearly to patients.Educate patients regarding oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment requirements.Maintain accurate and timely patient records.Follow proper infection-control, sterilization, and clinical safety protocols.Assist senior dental professionals with specialized procedures when required.Maintain a professional, empathetic, and patient-friendly approach.Coordinate effectively with the clinical team.Contribute to maintaining high standards of patient care and clinic operations. Candidate RequirementsBDS degree from a recognized institution.Valid State Dental Council registration is mandatory.0–2 years of experience in dentistry.Freshers are encouraged to apply.Candidates in the probationary stage may also apply, provided they have successfully cleared all examinations completed so far.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Strong patient-handling and counselling skills.Basic knowledge of general dental procedures and clinical protocols.Strong willingness to learn and develop clinical skills.Professional, responsible, and compassionate approach towards patients.Ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team.Dedicated and committed approach towards work.
