Shawano Family Dentistry values a supportive workplace culture that prioritizes both patient well-being and professional excellence.Role Description The Associate Dentist will provide comprehensive general dentistry services, including examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, and preventive care for patients of all ages. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing fillings, crowns, extractions, and other routine procedures; collaborating with the clinical team for efficient patient flow; and maintaining accurate, compliant patient records. The role involves educating patients on oral health, presenting treatment options clearly, and ensuring a positive, comfortable experience consistent with the practice’s family-oriented values. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Green Bay, Wisconsin Metropolitan Area, with active participation in team meetings, quality improvement efforts, and community-focused patient care.Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental schoolActive Wisconsin dental license (or eligibility to obtain), in good standingProficiency in general dental procedures, including diagnostics, restorative treatments, preventive care, and basic oral surgeryStrong patient communication skills, with the ability to explain treatment options clearly and build trust in a compassionate, family-focused settingCommitment to ethical practice, attention to detail, and adherence to infection control and safety protocolsAbility to work collaboratively with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to support efficient, high-quality patient careInterest in continuing education and staying current with evidence-based dental practices and technologyPrevious experience in a family or general dentistry practice is beneficial but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply
