Associate Director of Procurement

I'm currently partnering with a global technology organization on a search for an Associate Director of Procurement to lead and transform their indirect procurement function across North America.This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for developing procurement strategies, leading strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiating supplier agreements, optimizing spend, and strengthening procurement governance across a wide range of categories, including IT, professional services, travel, banking, insurance, and corporate services. The position will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal, HR, Internal Audit, IT, and executive leadership to drive cost savings, improve supplier performance, reduce risk, and support long-term business objectives.Key areas of focus include:Strategic sourcing and supplier managementContract negotiation and vendor governanceIndirect spend optimization and cost reduction initiativesIT procurement and technology vendor managementProcurement policy development and compliance oversightRisk management, internal controls, and audit supportSAP Vendor Master governance and process improvementsTravel & Entertainment (T&E) procurement strategyFinancial services, banking, and insurance vendor negotiationsProcurement transformation and continuous improvement initiativesThe ideal candidate will have 10+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain leadership experience, with a proven track record of developing procurement strategies, managing enterprise vendor relationships, driving operational efficiencies, and partnering with senior stakeholders across the organization.
