Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are looking for an Associate Director – Order to Cash (O2C) to provide temporary leadership of O2C business-as-usual operations for our client in Dubai. This role requires strong senior-level experience across O2C operations, collections, customer account management, service delivery and operational governance, with the ability to maintain business continuity and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.It is initially a contract role and renewable based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day O2C business-as-usual operations, with particular focus on Collections and related activities.Own operational performance, service levels, quality, controls, capacity and issue escalation across the O2C function.Provide leadership, direction and decision support to O2C managers and operational teams.Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Treasury and other key stakeholders to resolve material customer and process issues.Oversee period-end readiness and ensure operational priorities are delivered within agreed timelines.Ensure appropriate governance, compliance, internal controls and audit actions are maintained across O2C operations.Identify operational risks and ensure timely escalation and resolution of critical issues.Manage capacity and resources to maintain service continuity and delivery standards.Prepare regular operational updates and reports for senior leadership.Maintain business continuity across the function and ensure a structured handback of responsibilities to the incumbent.Knowledge, skills & experience:Significant senior leadership experience across O2C operations, particularly Collections and customer account management.Strong understanding of O2C controls, service delivery, period-end activities and operational risk management.Experience leading managers and large operational teams.Strong people leadership, capacity planning, performance management and escalation skills.Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to assess operational and customer-related issues and make sound decisions.Experience preparing executive-level reporting and senior leadership updates.Strong stakeholder management experience across Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Treasury and other business functions.Ability to operate independently, take ownership of operational priorities and maintain service continuity during periods of change.Availability:Preference will be given to candidates who are immediately available or can join within a short notice period.
