Apply & track with Apply EdgeAbout the RoleThis position will take responsibility for leading all aspects of developing, implementing and maintaining agreed Business Assurance Functions, including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Sustainability, Business Continuity and Innovation, maintaining the Imdaad Integrated Management Systems and ISO Accreditations. Working as part of an integrated team linking with the Imdaad Business Units, contract teams, client teams and other Imdaad support functions, the role will ensure that Imdaad’s H&S, Quality and Sustainability objectives are met, whilst ensuring that Risks are adequately managed and mitigated.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the development and implementation of Integrated Management System (IMS) - ISO 9001, 18001 and 45001 (and any other standards required by the business) including policies, strategies, procedures, training, implementation, monitoring and reporting.Assist the leadership team to develop, manage and monitor the H&S performance of the company. Monitor and advise on all H&S matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements, Company and contractual requirements and good industry practice.Play a key role in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Quality Framework, incorporating both corporate and business unit level quality, risk and policy. The role will support the achievement of strategic objectives by leading and developing the annual Quality Plan.Establish appropriate Enterprise Risk Management framework including risk policies, metrics, reporting and monitoring. Ensures alignment of Risk Management with Corporate Strategy and ensures that appropriate risk treatment plans are in place and risk owners are designated.Provide integrated support to all services in understanding sustainability obligations (including higher standards of sustainability that go beyond compliance), planning and implementing initiatives, monitoring and reporting results.Collaborate with support function and BU heads/directors and the executive team to develop and implement plans to anticipate, address, and mitigate the effects of various business interruptions.Create the strategy and culture required for employees to experiment with the right resources at the right level to support that experimentation.Perform similar duties as he deems fit for the proper execution of their duties and duties as delegated by the Executive Director – Strategic Planning and Corporate Performance and/or the Business Leaders.QualificationsA bachelor’s degree in any related business field. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable for the position.NEBOSH of similar qualification.Quality Assurance qualification from an accredited body.Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.Required SkillsA candidate for this position will have had at least 5 years of working experience in a HQEQ related position at a senior management level, within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment, preferably in a FM, Waste Management or related business.The candidate will have gained substantial exposure to implementing and maintaining ISO standards.Have experience being a central piece of a wide range of strategic decision-making processes and as a result have become comfortable assessing a business and making appropriate choices.A suitable candidate will be a natural collaborator with an ability to establish and maintain lasting relationships both internally and externally and utilise influencing skills to demonstrate exceptionally good analytical skills.Ability to analyse and interpret data from a variety of sources, including financial results, operational performance, customer feedback and other key metrics to determine areas of opportunity.Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, have high-energy and a proactive nature, have a positive can-do attitude, be result-driven, have exceptional problem-solving skills, and work comfortably in a group/collaborative setting.Demonstrated experience promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement.Must be a people person who also has the ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team into consistent performance improvement.Strong understanding of the business and experience working directly or indirectly with various business functions and multiple aspects of the business value chain.Ability to think strategically, understand the big picture and connect the dots between strategy and operational priorities.Creative thinking, flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to bring new ideas and approaches to the table.Strong level of comfort with business and technical discussions.Advanced Planning Skills, Numerical Ability, Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills, Process Orientation and Interpersonal Skills.Advanced communication skills in English (Oral and Written) and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.
