Associate Engineer – Mechanical / Electrical

Employment Type: Full-timeWe are looking for an Associate Engineer – Mechanical / Electrical to support day-to-day engineering activities, maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and technical coordination across mechanical and electrical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport operation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment/systems.Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance activities.Conduct routine inspections and identify equipment faults or abnormalities.Support installation, testing, commissioning, and repair activities.Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, manuals, and specifications.Coordinate with senior engineers, technicians, contractors, and vendors for maintenance and project activities.Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and technical documentation.Assist in identifying root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.Ensure work is carried out in compliance with HSE requirements, technical standards, and company procedures.Support spare-parts requirements and material coordination.Monitor equipment performance and escalate critical issues when required.Assist with project execution, shutdown activities, and equipment upgrades.Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and operational efficiency.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.elevant engineering, maintenance, or technical operations experience preferred.Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and equipment.Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices.Good communication and coordination skills.Familiarity with HSE and safe working practices.UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.SkillsMechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Troubleshooting, Equipment Maintenance, Testing & Commissioning, Technical Support, Engineering Operations, Root Cause Analysis, Technical Documentation, HSE, Equipment Inspection, Reliability, Project Support, MEP, Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, AutoCAD, Maintenance Planning, Engineering Drawings, Vendor Coordination.Job TitlesAssociate Engineer – MechanicalAssociate Engineer – ElectricalJunior Mechanical EngineerJunior Electrical EngineerMaintenance EngineerMechanical Maintenance EngineerElectrical Maintenance EngineerEngineering AssociateTechnical EngineerMEP Engineer
