The Associate Faculty member is responsible for planning and delivering vocational courses, preparing lesson plans, teaching in classroom and lab settings, and assessing learner performance through assignments, projects, and examinations. Day-to-day tasks include developing teaching materials, providing academic support and mentoring to learners, maintaining accurate records of attendance and grades, and contributing to curriculum enhancement. The role also involves collaborating with other faculty and staff on program development, participating in academic meetings, and supporting institutional initiatives aimed at improving teaching quality and learner outcomes.Qualifications Strong instructional and classroom management skills, with the ability to teach vocational subjects in management and/or technology effectively.Competence in curriculum design, lesson planning, and developing learning materials aligned with vocational training standards.Proficiency in learner assessment, feedback, and academic advising to support diverse learner needs and progress.Comfort with educational technology and digital tools for teaching, assessment, and communication.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with clear, professional presentation abilities.Demonstrated collaboration skills and the ability to work constructively within a multicultural academic environment.Relevant academic qualification (e.g., bachelor’s or master’s degree) in management, technology, education, or a related field.Prior teaching or training experience in vocational or higher education settings is highly beneficial.Commitment to continuous professional development and keeping subject matter knowledge current with industry practices.
