For more information visit: www.space42.ai, follow us on X and Instagram: @Space42aiROLE PURPOSEAs an Associate - Government Strategic Programs at Space42, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of cutting-edge AI-powered space technology programs for our portfolio of high-profile government and enterprise clients. You will assist in coordinating and executing engineering projects, ensuring that all projects align with company standards and contribute to our mission of advancing the company’s sovereign and global space capabilities. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, your efforts will directly support innovation in next-generation satellite systems and reinforce our leadership in the AI-powered space sector, driving both operational excellence and technological advancement.Responsibilities:Assist with the delivery of engineering projects in SATCOM, AI-enabled space solutions, and advanced communications systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company procedures.Support the project lifecycle management of small to medium initiatives, contributing to scheduling, budgeting, and delivery of key milestones (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR).Collaborate with engineering teams in technical implementation, design coordination, feasibility analysis, and system testing to ensure products meet defined requirements.Gather and clarify customer requirements, provide responsive technical support, and aid in vendor and supplier coordination during design reviews and acceptance testing.Participate in the preparation of proposals, including RFPs and SOWs, and in the development of risk mitigation and design strategies alongside senior engineers.Facilitate effective communication and cooperation across internal departments, suppliers, and external stakeholders to support seamless project execution.Adhere to company’s governance frameworks, project management standards, and INFOSEC protocols, while capturing and sharing best practices.Maintain thorough, accurate documentation of deliverables (manuals, test reports, component drawings), supporting efficient handover and project closure.Contribute ideas to process improvement, promote adoption of AI and advanced technologies, and support continuous innovation across project teams.Participate in regular project, engineering, and customer meetings, ensuring information flow and project alignment with organizational objectives.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Agile, or Prince2 is a plus.Minimum 2+ years’ experience delivering projects in space technology, aerospace, telecommunications, or a similar engineering environment.Familiarity with programming languages (such as Python or C++) for automation or data analytics is highly desirable.Proficient in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence), with working knowledge of CAD and simulation software (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).Exposure to AI, machine learning, cloud computing, or satellite systems and understanding of their applications in space technology.Solid understanding of industry regulatory standards and compliance needs.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in team-based and multidisciplinary environments.English language proficiency at Berlitz Level 8 / IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 550 or equivalent is required.Demonstrated organizational skills, detail orientation, and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.Previous experience in related industries (defense, advanced manufacturing, aviation, or government space programs) is preferred.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and senior stakeholder engagement abilities.Experience with MS Office Suite, business intelligence tools, and advanced project management software.Ability to work with cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.OUR BENEFITS & PERKSCompetitive compensation packages and comprehensive medical insurance to support you and your family.Wellbeing-focused initiatives and resources, designed to enhance your personal and professional life.Access to exclusive discount programs, offering savings across various lifestyle and leisure experiences across the UAE.WHAT MAKES A GREAT FITIf you are performance-driven and possess an inquisitive mind with the agility to navigate ambiguity, you will thrive here.
