JOB SUMMARY The role is for a Mobile Developer responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing mobile applications to support the organization's digital services and business requirements.The candidate must be able to develop reliable, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications and integrate them with enterprise back-end services and APIs. The role also involves testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and supporting the deployment and maintenance of mobile applications.The candidate will work closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, front-end developers, business stakeholders, vendors, and other technical teams to deliver quality mobile solutions aligned with business requirements and enterprise technology standards.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMain roles and responsibilitiesMobile Application Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain mobile applications for Android and/or iOS platforms.UI/UX Implementation: Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly mobile interfaces.API Integration: Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, back-end services, and enterprise systems.Application Performance: Optimize mobile application performance, responsiveness, resource utilization, and reliability.Cross-platform Development: Develop applications using appropriate native or cross-platform technologies.Testing: Conduct unit, integration, functional, device compatibility, and regression testing.Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve application defects, crashes, performance issues, and production incidents.Security: Implement secure mobile application development practices including authentication, authorization, secure data storage, and secure communications.Release Management: Support application packaging, deployment, version management, and release to relevant application distribution platforms.Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.Monitoring and Support: Monitor application issues and support production application operations.Project Delivery: Participate in Agile/SCRUM activities and deliver assigned development tasks within agreed timelines.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business users, UI/UX designers, developers, infrastructure teams, security teams, and vendors.Documentation: Prepare and maintain application and technical documentation.Technology Trends: Keep up to date with emerging mobile technologies, frameworks, platforms, and development practices.Other roles and responsibilities:Compliance with ISO Clause 5.3 Organisational roles, responsibilities, and authority Always adhere to Air Selangor Integrated Management System (AIMS) and HSE policy and involvement in implementing the Management System. Practice SACRED personality while carrying out daily job activity, which includes: Safety Conscious Agile Creative Reliable Efficient Digitally drivenMinimum QualificationsA Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.Relevant professional certifications in mobile application development or related technologies would be an advantage.Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mobile application development.Experience developing applications for Android and/or iOS.Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs and back-end services.Experience in mobile application testing and troubleshooting.Experience deploying applications to Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store would be an advantage.Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments would be an advantage.Experience in web and mobile technologies (minimum 5 areas):Proficient in one or more mobile development technologies such as Flutter/Dart, React Native, Kotlin, Swift, or equivalent.API technologies – REST, SOAP, GraphQL.Database – Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.DevOps – Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.Security – OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SSL/TLS, authentication and authorization.Architecture – Microservices, SOA, event-driven architecture.
