Team members collaborate closely with clients operating at the intersection of technology, finance, and media to build resilient legal strategies.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate Lawyer role based in Dubai. The Associate Lawyer will support partners in advising clients on corporate, blockchain, and commercial matters, including drafting and reviewing contracts, transaction documents, governance frameworks, and compliance policies. Daily responsibilities include conducting legal research, preparing legal opinions and memoranda, assisting with regulatory filings, and participating in client meetings. The role involves managing case files, coordinating with external stakeholders and authorities, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work. Fluency in Chinese will be used to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients, review bilingual documents, and support cross-border matters involving Chinese jurisdictions.QualificationsStrong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills, with experience preparing contracts, legal opinions, and transaction documents.Knowledge of corporate and commercial law; familiarity with blockchain, Web3, or technology-related regulations is highly beneficial.Fluency in Chinese (spoken and written) and strong proficiency in English; ability to work with bilingual documents and international clients.Excellent communication, client-facing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.High level of attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to handle multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team and maintain professional ethics, discretion, and confidentiality.Qualified lawyer with a law degree from a recognized institution; admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction is preferred.Prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal role; exposure to UAE or international cross-border work is an advantage.
