PurposeThe Living Assoicateworks in close collaboration with the Living Team to execute SENTRE’s operations plan objectives across the entire SENTRE Living portfolio and is specifically accountable to resident communications and work order coordination, application processing, property records and reporting, resident event support, and property standards. Based in San Diego, the role serves as an onsite point of contact for SENTRE’s San Diego communities and remote support to regional communities. This role provides future growth opportunities via exposure and direct participation in day-to-day property operations across a multi-market portfolio.ResponsibilitiesServe as an onsite point of contact for residents across all three San Diego communities, sending resident notices using approved templates;Receive and coordinate resident service requests and work orders, scheduling vendors as needed and confirming completion with the resident;Escalate complaints, emergencies, safety concerns, or unresolved issues to the Portfolio Manager, Living promptly and document the resolution;Conduct routine property walks and unit inspections to uphold SENTRE brand standards, flagging maintenance, curb appeal, or unit condition issues to the Portfolio Manager, Living;Support the unit make-ready process by coordinating turnover scheduling and confirming units meet SENTRE standards prior to move-in;Process rental applications in accordance with SENTRE’s approved screening criteria, coordinating with the Living Team from application through approval;Ensure application handling and all resident interactions comply with Fair Housing requirements and SENTRE operating policy;Maintain accurate resident files, lease documentation, and Yardi records, keeping administrative processes on schedule;Prepare leasing, occupancy, and work order reports and other recurring documentation for review by the Portfolio Manager, Living and the Living team;Support the planning and running of resident events that build community and support resident retention;Coordinate event logistics, resident communications, and vendors in partnership with the Living Team;Travel and AvailabilityRegular travel between SENTRE’s three San Diego residential communities is required; Attendance at SENTRE’s HQ in San Diego for training, team meetings, and company events;QualificationsMinimum 2 years’ experience in multifamily leasing, property management, or resident services;Experience processing rental applications against established screening criteria;Self-starter, motivated individual seeking an opportunity for growth and responsibility;Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents, prospective residents, vendors, and team members;Working knowledge of California and San Diego landlord-tenant and Fair Housing requirements;Ability to prioritize tasks and manage administrative workload across two portfolios;Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Yardi property management software;Reliable transportation and ability to travel between assigned San Diego properties as needed;Alignment with SENTRE’s Core Values;Core ValuesGreatness follows passionWe believe in doing work that fuels passion and delivers results.
