Associate Manager – Demand Planning (Consumer)

In the role of Associate Manager – Demand Planning, your duties encompass overseeing the forecasting and management of future product or service demand. This involves leveraging diverse data source - including sales history, marketing strategies, industry trends, and customer feedback - to develop precise and dependable demand forecasts. Additionally, you'll collaborate with various departments such as supply chain, production, sales, and marketing to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and overarching business objectives and strategies.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Forecasting and Data AnalysisDeveloping and maintaining effective forecast models based on historical and current data, as well as external factors that may affect demand.Analyzing and evaluating the accuracy and performance of the forecast models and adjusting as needed.Stakeholder CommunicationCommunicating the demand forecasts and inventory plans to the relevant stakeholders and ensuring their buy-in and supportIdentifying and resolving any issues or discrepancies in the demand planning process and data.Process OptimizationProviding insights and recommendations to improve the demand planning process and outcomes.Cross-Functional CoordinationDay to Day warehouse communicationInfluencing the demand in a positive and negative mannerEXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business or equivalent.Minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain, or 3 years' experience as associated manager or similar industryProven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a similar roleSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain, and production planning principles and best practicesAttention to detail and accuracy and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Business Focus and awarenessWork Style – plan, prioritize, decide, and deliver.Integrity – responsible, loyal, trustworthy and maintains confidentiality.Work Location: Dubai
