The role oversees daily inventory activities including goods receiving, stock management, replenishment, order allocation and preparation, shipment invoicing, and supplier compliance to Distribution Centre standards.ROLE PROFILELead inventory control operations across the Distribution Centre, ensuring high inventory accuracy and minimizing stock losses throughout the logistics process.Oversee daily inventory activities including goods receiving, stock management, replenishment, order allocation, order preparation, and shipment invoicing.Manage and optimize inventory tracking systems, cycle counts, physical stock audits, and inventory adjustments to maintain accurate records.Analyze inventory performance, stock aging, shortages, losses, and supplier compliance, while implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.Ensure effective warehouse management system (WMS) configuration and adherence to inventory management principles such as FIFO, FEFO, and LIFO.Drive operational efficiency by improving logistics processes, reducing costs, resolving system-related issues, and enhancing productivity within the Distribution Centre.Develop, coach, and manage the inventory team through performance management, training, succession planning, and workforce development initiatives.Ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, security standards, budgets, and cross-functional coordination to support overall business objectives.REQUIREMENTSEnsure high service levels across inventory operations by maintaining accurate order allocation, inbound receiving, stock management, and outbound dispatch processes.Drive inventory accuracy and control measures to minimize stock discrepancies, shrinkage, and inventory losses.Identify and implement operational efficiency initiatives to reduce logistics and inventory management costs.Maintain accurate inventory master data, parameters, and system configurations within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).Ensure proper storage, security, safety, and hygiene standards for all goods received, stored, and distributed through the Distribution Centre.Strong analytical and inventory management skills, with expertise in WMS, inventory control, forecasting, advanced Excel, and 6+ years of relevant managerial experience.
