The ideal candidate will be confident in providing appropriate counselling to patients of all ages and varying levels of health literacy and will have a strong interest in contributing to ongoing innovations that enhance primary care delivery.ResponsibilitiesProvide Quality Patient CareSee patients and listen carefully to their health concernsExamine patients, order tests, and make clear treatment plansGive safe, evidence-based care following clinic guidelinesWrite notes and prescriptions neatly and on timeEducate and Counsel PatientsExplain health conditions and treatment plans in plain languageTeach patients how to take medicines and when to come for reviewEncourage healthy habits such as good diet, exercise, and restCheck that patients understand what to do at homeWork With Other Medical Team MembersWork closely with nurses, pharmacists, and other team members for excellent patient care deliveryShare updates and referrals clearly with other healthcare providers and specialistsHelp new staff learn clinical routines and patient-care stepsImprove Health Programs and ServicesJoin efforts to track clinic performance and patient outcomesSupport community health checks and wellness programsHelp collect data for reports and improvement plans from health checks and wellness programsEnsure Professional ConductKeep patient information private and secureBe on time, respectful, and ready to work well with othersFollow all clinic rules and medical ethicsKeep learning to stay up to date in medical practiceRequirementsRequired:Minimum qualification of MBBS or MBChB or its equivalent from a recognized institution0 - 1 year Post NYSC experienceValid license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)Completed NYSC with evidence of NYSC discharge certificate or exemptionStay within 10km radius of the specific RFC applied forNice-to-Have:Familiarity with digital health tools or EMR systems (not explicitly listed but highly valuable)Previous experience in public speaking and health educationAbility to work 12hours shift within a clinic settingBenefitsAt Reliance Health, we prioritize our people and their well-being.
