Associate, National Publicity (Entry Level Position) - Los Angeles About Strategy PR/Consulting: We are a bi-coastal entertainment PR and consulting firm and work on launch campaigns for films and TV series. We also do a great deal of awards campaign work on films and series as it relates to the Oscars and Emmys. Having started the company in 2011, we are proud to have just hit our 15 year marker. Some of the Oscar films we have worked on include One Battle After Another, Sinners, Dune, CODA, Licorice Pizza, Nomadland, Promising Young Woman, Elvis, Barbie, Killers of the Flower Moon, American Fiction and Nickel Boys. On the TV side, we have worked on shows such as Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, Abbott Elementary, Only Murders in the Building, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Shrinking and The Handmaid’s Tale. Professional Duties May Include:Organizing calls/meetings both internally and with clientsMaintaining various documents including status reports, calendars, critics grids, schedules, reaction/quote memos and contact sheetsClipping, compiling and servicing of press breaks for clientsTaking notes at meetings and on calls and following up on action itemsManaging publicity materials including photos/stills, clips/trailers and promotional materialsDrafting and revising press materials including memos, press releases, bios and press notesCovering and helping to organize screenings, press days, talent interviews and eventsPitching films and talent Job Requirements:4-year College Degree (B.A. or B.S.)Ideally one year of related work and/or internship experienceCandidate should be impeccably organized and detail-oriented; social media savvy; have good instincts and be a strategic and forward thinker; have solid writing skills and strong interpersonal skills.Must be able to work in a very fast-paced environment, excel at multitasking and have a real, passionate interest in television/film/awards/entertainment.Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines.
