Associate - Portfolio Analytics

That means the people who join now will help shape how we measure, manage and grow our business.THE ROLEAs Associate – Portfolio Analytics, you will be the person who turns our portfolio data into clear, decision-ready insight. You’ll track how our SME lending and payments portfolio is performing, spot risks and opportunities early, and give the credit, collections, product and leadership teams the numbers they need to make good calls.This is a hands-on role in a small, fast-moving team. You’ll build reports and models from the ground up, work directly with senior stakeholders, and see the impact of your analysis on real business decisions.Reporting to: Chief Product Officer / Chief Technology Officer

Location: Dubai, UAE (on site)KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and analyse portfolio performance metrics including yield, payment performance, and exposure.
• Develop and maintain automated reporting dashboards and data models.
• Conduct cohort analysis, vintage analysis, and risk segmentation of the portfolio.
• Support monthly/quarterly portfolio review reports for senior management and investors.
• Assist in building credit risk scoring models and monitoring model performance.
• Identify data anomalies, trends, and early warning signals in portfolio health.
• Collaborate with tech/data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and pipeline integrity.
• Apply modern data engineering practices to improve data pipelines and reporting automation.
• Provide ad hoc data analysis to support business decisions across teams.
• Maintain data governance standards and documentation in line with UAE PDPL.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• 2–3 years of experience in analytics, data science, or portfolio/risk analysis.
• Hands-on proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel, with foundational coding skills and system design thinking.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools to enhance data analysis, reporting, and insight generation.
• CRM familiarity preferred.
• Background in financial services, lending, or fintech preferred
