The institute values community engagement and seeks professionals who are committed to student success and the advancement of the pharmacy profession.Role Description This full-time, on-site Associate Professor role is based at Pakistan Institute of Professional Studies in Abbottabad Central. The Associate Professor will deliver lectures, lead tutorials, and design course materials aligned with contemporary pharmacy education and professional standards. Daily responsibilities include supervising student projects, mentoring learners, guiding internships or clinical placements, and maintaining accurate academic records and assessments. The role involves conducting and publishing research, participating in academic committees, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting accreditation and quality assurance activities. The Associate Professor is also expected to engage in professional development, collaborate with colleagues, and participate in outreach and events that strengthen the institute’s academic and community impact.Qualifications Advanced degree in Pharmacy or a closely related discipline (PhD preferred; minimum of a postgraduate degree in a relevant field).Demonstrated teaching experience at the tertiary level, with the ability to design and deliver clear, engaging, and student-centered instruction.Proven research background, including scholarly publications, conference presentations, or ongoing research projects in pharmacy or related areas.Strong communication, mentoring, and academic advising skills, with a commitment to inclusive and supportive learner engagement.Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues on curriculum development, assessment strategies, and institutional initiatives.Familiarity with contemporary trends in pharmacy practice, regulatory frameworks, and professional ethics.Experience with educational technology, online learning tools, and standard productivity software used in higher education settings.Commitment to integrity, professional conduct, and continuous improvement in teaching, research, and service.
