Associate Professor, Fungal Genomics and Biomanufacturing

Concordia University's Department of Biology is seeking a tenure-track in Fungal Genomics and Biomanufacturing (position code 26-T-BIOL-O), with duties in research, graduate and undergraduate teaching, and service.The successful candidate will hold a PhD in Biology or a related field and have academic or professional experience commensurate with the Associate Professor rank preferred (flexible). They will show strong potential to build an externally funded research program that uses genomic and synthetic biology approaches in fungal or microbial systems, for example biosynthetic gene cluster engineering, secretion pathway regulation, or enzymes and metabolites for biomass conversion and human health. They should also show potential for excellent teaching.
