The Associate Professor will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in clinical psychology, engage in classroom and laboratory teaching, supervise student projects and theses, and provide academic advising and mentoring. The role includes conducting high-quality research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, securing research funding where possible, and contributing to curriculum development that integrates current clinical and research practices. The Associate Professor will participate in departmental and university committees, support accreditation and quality assurance processes, and collaborate with colleagues and external partners to strengthen clinical training and community engagement.Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology and Clinical Psychology, with the ability to integrate theory, practice, and ethical standards.Demonstrated experience in University Teaching and Teaching, including course planning, classroom instruction, and student mentorship.Expertise in Curriculum Development for clinical psychology programs, aligned with contemporary academic and professional requirements.Proven Research capabilities, including designing studies, data analysis, publication in reputable journals, and contribution to the research profile of the department.Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology or a closely related field from a recognized university.Relevant teaching experience at the university level, preferably at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank, with a record of scholarly publications.Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment and engage in service to the department and university.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and commitment to learner-centered teaching and continuous professional development.Clinical practice experience, supervision experience, and familiarity with accreditation or regulatory requirements in psychology education are advantageous.
