The institution is committed to high-quality teaching, impactful research, and nurturing professionals who embody strong values and social responsibility.Role Description The Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology will be a full-time, on-site faculty member based in the Mohali district campus. Responsibilities include delivering lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in clinical psychology; supervising student projects, dissertations, and internships; and mentoring learners at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The role involves designing and updating curricula aligned with current clinical psychology practice and research, as well as contributing to departmental and university committees. The Associate Professor will be expected to conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, seek external funding where possible, and support outreach and industry partnerships in mental health. Additional duties include participating in academic advising, assessment processes, and fostering an inclusive, student-centered learning environment.Qualifications Strong foundation in Psychology and Clinical Psychology, with the ability to integrate theory, assessment, and intervention into teaching and practice.Demonstrated experience in University Teaching and Teaching, including lectures, seminars, supervision, and learner mentorship.Proficiency in Curriculum Development, with experience designing, reviewing, and improving academic programs and course materials.Proven Research skills, including conducting empirical studies, publishing in reputable journals, and engaging in scholarly activities.Doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology or closely related field from a recognized institution.Relevant clinical or supervised practice experience in mental health settings; eligibility for professional registration or licensure where applicable.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to teach and work effectively with diverse student populations.Experience with outcome-based education, use of digital learning tools, and interdisciplinary collaboration is highly beneficial.Commitment to ethical practice, student welfare, and continuous professional development in teaching and research.
