The role involves designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in computer science, including lectures, labs, and seminars. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing curricula and course materials, guiding student projects, supervising research activities, and providing academic advising. The Associate Professor will conduct scholarly research, publish in reputable journals, and stay current with advances in computer science and related fields. The role also includes participation in departmental committees, collaboration with colleagues on academic initiatives, and engagement with industry partners to align teaching with current professional practices.QualificationsStrong foundation in Computer Science, with the ability to teach core concepts at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.Experience in Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, assessments, and learning outcomes for computer science courses.Knowledge and teaching capability in Data Science, such as statistical modeling, machine learning, and data analysis tools.Expertise in AI & ML, Data Analytics.Proficiency in Programming, with experience in one or more widely used languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or similar) and software development practices.Relevant doctoral and master’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.Demonstrated record of teaching excellence, student mentoring, and academic research or publications.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly, foster an inclusive learning environment, and collaborate with diverse teams.Experience with educational technologies, learning management systems, and modern pedagogical methods is beneficial.Salary - Negotiable ( As per the industry norms)
