Chandigarh University, Mohali (Punjab) is looking for passionate, academically accomplished, and research-oriented Law Faculty to join the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS).📍 Location: Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab💼 Employment Type: Full-Time🏛️ Department: University Institute of Legal Studies 💼 Experience Required🔹 Professor: Minimum 12 years of relevant teaching/research/academic experience.🔹 Associate Professor: Minimum 8 years of relevant teaching/research/academic experience.🎓 Eligibility & QualificationsLL.B., LL.M. and Ph.D. in Law from a recognized university/institution.Candidates must meet applicable UGC/BCI and other regulatory requirements.Strong academic record with relevant teaching/research experience.Candidates with publications in reputed/recognized journals will be preferred.Relevant experience in legal practice, judiciary, academia, or industry will be an added advantage🎓 Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, seminars, and practical sessions.Develop and update course content, lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.Teach subjects across areas including Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, Contract Law, IPR, International Law, Family Law, Labour Law, Environmental Law, Cyber Law, Taxation Law, and other relevant specializations.Mentor students in academics, research, moot courts, internships, and career development.Undertake quality research and publish papers in reputed journals.Guide dissertations, projects, and research work.Contribute to conferences, seminars, workshops, research projects, and academic activities.Support moot court, legal aid clinic, debate, mediation, client counselling, and other co-curricular initiatives.Contribute to curriculum development, academic planning, accreditation, and departmental activities.Develop collaborations with legal professionals, law firms, courts, universities, and other institutions.🌟 We Are Looking For✔️ Excellent communication and presentation skills✔️ Strong subject knowledge and teaching ability✔️ Strong research orientation and publication record✔️ Student mentoring and academic leadership skills✔️ Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities✔️ Proficiency in digital teaching and learning tools✔️ Ability to contribute effectively to a collaborative academic environment📩 Interested candidates are invited to share their updated CV at savleen.hrd@cumail.in with relevant academic and research credentials.Join Chandigarh University and contribute to shaping the next generation of legal professionals, scholars, and leaders.
