Location: Lexington, MAWork Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PMWork Arrangement: OnsiteDuration: 1 yearPay Rate: $39/hr on w2We are seeking an Associate Research Scientist – RNAi Formulations to join a multidisciplinary research team focused on non-viral delivery and formulation development for RNAi and oligonucleotide therapeutics.This is a hands-on laboratory role focused on formulation preparation, analytical and biophysical characterization, developability assessments, troubleshooting, and stability evaluation of oligonucleotide formulations for injectable therapeutics.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and characterize preclinical RNAi and oligonucleotide formulations across portfolio and platform projects.Perform hands-on formulation preparation, biophysical characterization, analytical testing, and data analysis.Develop and execute screening assays to evaluate formulation performance and developability.Assess critical formulation properties including solubility, viscosity, osmolality, stability, degradation, and aggregation.Support formulation optimization using high-throughput screening and Design of Experiments (DoE) approaches where applicable.Conduct long-term storage and stability studies for RNAi conjugates and oligonucleotide formulations.Troubleshoot formulation and characterization challenges, identify technical gaps, and propose practical solutions.Maintain accurate experimental documentation and communicate results through technical summaries, reports, and presentations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in non-viral delivery, formulation, oligonucleotide chemistry, bioanalysis, PK, CMC, and related functions.Support project deliverables and timelines in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary research environment.Required QualificationsMS with approximately 3 years of relevant experience, or PhD with 1–3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical sciences, formulation sciences, chemical engineering, biophysics, analytical chemistry, oligonucleotide delivery, or a related field.Hands-on experience with oligonucleotide or antibody/protein formulation and characterization is strongly preferred.Experience with analytical methods or assessments involving solubility, viscosity, osmolality, aggregation, stability, degradation, or other developability parameters.Strong hands-on laboratory skills with the ability to troubleshoot formulation and characterization challenges.Strong experimental planning, documentation, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the
