The company focuses on building tools that streamline complex research workflows for students, professionals, and organizations.Role Description The Associate Researcher role at Atlas Workspace is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. This role involves closely reviewing academic papers and other research materials, summarizing key findings, and organizing information within the Atlas Workspace platform. The Associate Researcher will help design and refine structured research workflows, contribute to building thematic literature maps, and support the team in validating and cross-checking sources. Day-to-day tasks include conducting targeted literature searches, extracting and tagging key concepts, collaborating with product and engineering colleagues to improve research features, and preparing concise research briefs for internal and external stakeholders. The role also includes participating in team discussions about research methodology and user needs, and providing feedback that improves the usability and accuracy of the platform.Qualifications Strong research and analytical abilities, including experience reading, interpreting, and synthesizing academic papers or technical reports.Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, structured summaries and research briefs.Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying sources, cross-checking information, and organizing complex data.Comfort with digital tools and platforms used for literature review, reference management, or knowledge organization.Bachelor’s degree or higher in a research-intensive discipline (e.g., social sciences, humanities, natural sciences, engineering, data science) or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Singapore, manage deadlines, and adapt to evolving research priorities.Familiarity with research methodologies, basic statistics, or data interpretation is an advantage.Curiosity about how people interact with research tools and interest in contributing to the design of better research workflows.
