Our team operates in two main directionsApplying AI to the design and optimization of semiconductors and communication systemsConducting fundamental research that supports both our applications and the broader scientific community Current areas of interest include large language models (LLMs), optimization methods for deep learning, reinforcement learning (RL), and generative models. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport research projects by conducting experiments and collecting dataPerform literature reviews to inform ongoing researchAssist senior team members with data analysis and documentationContribute to the development and implementation of algorithms as part of team projectsCollaborate with researchers and engineers to explore and evaluate new ideasAssist in preparing publications and technical reportsStay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and related fields. Qualification & skills RequiredEnrolment in a PhD program in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related fieldDemonstrated interest in research and a background in machine learning or a related areaProficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similarStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaborativelyEffective communication skills and ability to present complex ideas clearly PreferredExperience in optimization, reinforcement learning, and/or large language models (LLMs)Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX)Previous research publications or submitted papersMain Requirements and QualificationsLocation: London/Cambridge (Hybrid)Duration: 4–6 months
