In this role, you will perform assay work across development, validation, transfer, qualification, and sample analysis; organize and document scientific data; and address routine technical and operational issues. You will take ownership of assigned work while collaborating with Scientists, Senior Scientists, and project partners to keep studies accurate, compliant, and on schedule.Based on your experience, technical strengths, and the needs of the hiring team, your assignments may focus on sample analysis, assay development, method transfer or qualification, or a combination of laboratory projects.Your day-to-day responsibilities:Perform assay runs that support development, validation, transfer, qualification, or sample analysis with moderate scientific supervisionPrepare study materials, samples, reagents, controls, and other laboratory resources for assigned scientific workFollow approved methods, standard operating procedures, study protocols, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory expectationsDocument experimental activities, technical observations, deviations, and routine results accurately in approved systemsPrepare routine study worksheets, data capture forms, and supporting laboratory documentation in accordance with approved requirementsSupport method qualification, study readiness, data organization, and routine scientific summaries as assignedCommunicate technical observations, study progress, and operational issues to Scientists, Senior Scientists, or supervisors in a timely mannerApply and continue strengthening technical proficiency, scientific judgment, and an understanding of BioAgilytix CRO workflowsPerform other responsibilities based on project and laboratory needsMinimum preferred qualifications: Education/ExperienceBachelor's degree in life sciences or a related scientific disciplineMinimum four (4) years of relevant scientific experienceAn equivalent combination of directly relevant education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the stated requirementsMinimum preferred qualifications: SkillsFamiliarity with some or all of the following immunoassay platforms: ELISA, MSD-ECL, Gyrolab, Alphalisa, Licor and LuminexFoundational to working-level laboratory technique and the ability to execute established methods consistentlyBasic understanding of scientific data recording, data integrity, and regulated laboratory expectationsAbility to summarize routine experimental results and communicate technical observationsStrong attention to detail, learning agility, and the ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven environmentProficiency with standard office software and a willingness to learn specialized laboratory systemsClear written and spoken English language skillsStrong interpersonal, presentation, and computer skillsPreferred qualifications:Advanced degree in life sciences or a related scientific disciplineWhat makes this role appealing:This role gives experienced laboratory professionals greater ownership of assay execution, study readiness, scientific documentation, and regulated laboratory work. The role is primarily laboratory-based and works under moderate supervision, with responsibility for managing assigned tasks independently and escalating complex issues when needed.The position requires frequent movement, periods of standing or remaining stationary, repetitive hand movements, bending, crouching, and lifting or moving laboratory equipment and supplies weighing up to 20 pounds. Some schedule flexibility may be available, but employees must be present during established core work hours. Occasional evening, weekend, or holiday work may be needed based on study schedules and business requirements.We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information.
