Role Description As an Associate Software Engineer at Harmony Community | مجتمع هارموني, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of software tools and platforms that enhance community engagement and networking experiences. In this part-time, remote role, you will collaborate with team members to implement new features, fix bugs, and optimize system performance across web and digital solutions. Your day-to-day tasks will include writing clean, efficient code, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation. You will also help research and evaluate new technologies, assist in integrating third-party services, and provide input on product improvements that align with the community’s mission and user needs.QualificationsStrong Programming and Software Development skills, with experience in at least one modern programming language and common development frameworks.Demonstrated Analytical Skills and Research abilities to solve technical problems, evaluate solutions, and support data-informed decisions.Effective Communication skills, including the ability to collaborate in distributed teams and clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Basic understanding of web technologies, APIs, and version control tools (e.g., Git) is highly beneficial.Interest in community-focused or social impact projects, particularly within Arab professional networks, is a plus.Relevant academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work independently, manage part-time remote responsibilities, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
