This role involves designing, developing, and testing software applications according to client and project requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing back-end functionality, and collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues. The Associate Software Engineer will participate in code reviews, contribute to documentation, and support deployment and maintenance activities. The role also involves learning and applying Accenture’s best practices, tools, and methodologies to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science principles, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering fundamentals.Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar).Skills in Software Development, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, debugging, and unit testing.Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, such as working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams, communicate clearly, and adapt to a fast-paced, project-driven environment.Interest in learning new technologies, tools, and methodologies, especially in cloud, data, and AI domains.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development lifecycle practices is an advantage.
