This position is hands-on, requiring experience in bill payment, including classification and recording of bank account and credit card details, and experience in bookkeeping including recording all transactions for a given entity, and production of basic financial reports.Understanding of operational accounting, cash management, and payroll functions are important to success. This role will have direct interaction with Family Office clients serving the needs of high-net worth individuals, families, and business owners in a fiduciary capacity.Key ResponsibilitiesFamily entity bookkeeping, which may include individuals, revocable trusts, or other related entitiesTimely, accurate, and reliable bill pay for high-net-worth clientele using Bill.com and Quickbooks OnlineCash management services including ensuring sufficient funds to make required paymentsGeneral ledger maintenance, balance sheet reconciliations, and cost allocationsMaintain sources and uses of cash reporting for family membersSupport financing and financial operations related to residential holdings and acquisitionsInterface with clients, and client advisors (investment, tax, other), and others on our team to ensure excellent communication takes placePrepare Excel worksheets containing analysis of client financial data such as broker analysis and construction or investment history spreadsheets.Generate client reports on cash basis using Quickbooks accounting software for monthly/quarterly/annual client deliverables.Perform monthly account and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of records.QualificationsEducation and/or 3+ years of experience in accounting, or bookkeeping and bill pay activities, with direct experience working within General Ledger systems (e.g. QuickBooks)Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent time management skills including multi-tasking and prioritizing of responsibilities across multiple points of contact in a deadline-driven environmentExceptional problem-solving capabilities in an entrepreneurial environmentSolid skills and experience using Microsoft Office products, including and most importantly, Excel.Ability to work independently and collaborate as a team
